1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using STATIC Arena ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
2. Nature of the Platform
STATIC Arena is a decentralized, peer-to-peer prediction protocol deployed on Ethereum and Base blockchains. The Platform allows users to create and participate in price prediction bets on cryptocurrency tokens. The Platform does not custody user funds — all bets are executed via smart contracts.
3. Risk Disclosure
Participation in prediction markets involves significant risk. You may lose your entire stake on any bet. Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and past performance does not guarantee future results. The Platform does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your decisions and any resulting gains or losses.
4. Price Oracle
The Platform uses third-party price data (DexScreener) to settle bets. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or timeliness of price data. Oracle failures, API outages, or data inaccuracies may affect settlement outcomes. In such cases, bets may be voided and stakes refunded.
5. Smart Contract Risks
All transactions are executed by smart contracts on public blockchains. Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities despite best efforts in testing and auditing. Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. Gas fees are non-refundable regardless of transaction outcome. The Platform owner may pause the contract in emergencies to protect user funds.
6. Platform Fees
The Platform charges a rake (fee) on settled bets, currently set at 4% of the total pot. This fee is deducted before winnings are distributed. Fee rates may be adjusted by the Platform operator. Current fee rates are always visible in the bet creation flow and on-chain.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform in any jurisdiction where such use is prohibited by law; (b) attempt to manipulate prices, outcomes, or other users; (c) use automated systems to exploit the Platform; (d) engage in money laundering or other illegal activities; (e) circumvent any security measures or access controls.
8. Dispute Resolution
Settled bets include a dispute window (currently 1 hour) during which the Platform operator may void a bet if settlement data is found to be inaccurate. After the dispute window, settlements are final and winnings become claimable. The Platform operator acts in good faith to ensure fair outcomes.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, or profits.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
